This mount, with its heavy plate steel shield, handles either the 30 caliber 1919 Browning machine gun or the 50 caliber M2 and M3 Browning machine guns. Painted army green and ready for you to enjoy shooting your gun standing up! This heavy-duty mount was used on vehicles and boats. It should be bolted to a hard surface and will allow you to get out of the dirt when shooting your historic firearm. Normally, the shield is demilitarized by cutting it into two pieces, which requires rewelding. That is not the case with this mount; the shield was never demilitarized! The shield does have a three inch long thin crack at the top edge. This mount also handles 30 caliber and 50 caliber ammo cans. With adaptor, not included, this mount will work with the M60 machine gun or its semi-automatic counterpart and would work best with the spade grip M60-D conversion.
